The hotel is situated in the centre of the city. The train station is 3 km from the hotel. The bus station is only 500 m away, and there is also a parking area at the hotel. Fes-Saïss Airport is around 12 km away.
This hotel is characterized by its traditional Moroccan architecture, its authentic setting and friendly staff. The hotel's reception, public areas and the Salon Dakchoucha lounge are all decorated in a traditional style with Moorish tiling and ornate carved woodwork. The hotel offers guests a total of 83 beautiful rooms, all recently refurbished and redecorated. Facilities at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a hairdressing salon, TV lounge, café, bar and restaurant. WLAN Internet access, a laundry service and garage are also available. There is also an on-site nightclub, Sphinx.
All rooms are equipped with individually regulated air conditioning, central heating, an en suite bathroom with bath, a TV with satellite channels, a telephone and a double or king-size bed.

Fes-Saïss Airport (FES) is 20 minutes away by car and 12 km from the hotel. Upon leaving the airport, take the direction of Fes on the right and drive along Avenue Prince Moulay Abdallah for a drive of 10 km. After passing the roundabout Al Massira, drive for about 2 km, then turn right into Avenue Omar Al Mokhtar. Continue until Boulevard Zerktouni, then turn right and the hotel is on the left.

The hotel received mixed reviews from guests. Some guests complained about the air conditioning not cooling and uncomfortable pillows, which made it difficult to sleep. Hello There !
Welcome to my lengthty comments ,( I guess that what 3 weeks of stay at one place does to your brain!!hehehe ) . These remarks might appear disjointed because they are crude & very honest . I did not reharse writing or organizing them ....Well , here we go :
1- Hotel location is the greatest thing that happened to Mounia . Security is the second best ! The daily 3 hours noisey Live-band downstairs can irritate you if noise can upset your sleep . If you are English speaking TV channels fan you only have to live with BBC "American TV is not here yet !!
2-Room are VERY tide & small . If you like "little spacy" rooms , look somewhere else !
3-There is no internet line in the room , no fride , no shampoo & no enough soap bar other than the little one left on your tray .
4-The ONLY one computer that is internet -connected is placed in the lobby. If you are lucky you will pay approx.$3 an hour and inhale all the smoke gushing out of noisey bar /club door facing you . If not lucky , the computer is occupied by a fellow guest ( GO OUT to a near by cyber room & pay $ 1 & inhale less somke !!)
5-Morning Breakfast is OK , do not look for variety though!
6- If you are in the habit of keeping fit , there is no gem .
7-Resturant meals are (over-priced ) given the quality of what they serve .....GO OUT ! 8-Stayed 3 weeks but I had no other choice since I paid in ADVANCE was My credit card was charged almost a month ahead of my arrival !!
9-Depite all these honest remarks , I think Mounia actually "measures up "to how they define the Hotel business & industry .
10- OH , before I go , although your site-posted rating of Mounia was 8.3 & has somehow contributed to (mislead me) in my choice , nevertheless I still believe that the best thing that happened to me in this trip is truly my dicovery of DESTINIA .COM !! I pledge to be future customer .Please do always solicit your clients opinion as you are doing with me .However , and most IMPORTANTLY update your site -posted ratings of hotels to reflect the LATEST reviews ....Good luck guys & Thank you
