    My opinion about this hotel
    Silva - Jan 19, 2010

I enjoyed the hotel very much. It is right on the zocalo in Veracruz surrounded by historic buildings. It is also the oldest running hotel in Mexico and has a long history itself.

The rooms are large, beds comfortable and bathrooms excellent. The rugs are old so some people might complain, and the furniture has seen a few years, but the value for the price is absolutely excellent. I have never had such a large hotel room in my life with an excellent view.

The front rooms are for people who come to Veracruz to hear the music and to see the dances. The music often goes on until 3 or 4am which was fine for me. I fell asleep to songs that I loved.
